The director wanted the Sleestaks to still look like a guy in a suit. I think they look awesome!
Just in case you don’t remember the old tv show or its remake, here’s a YouTube reminder.

It’s a beautiful day, and I’m done with exams.
Hurrah.
I leave for Bejing in 6 days. Scary.

Worf: Remember Rule of Acquisition No. 111: “Treat people in your debt like family - exploit them!”
Dax: *You* know the [Ferengi] Rules of Acquisition? (in skeptical disbelief)
Worf: I am a graduate of Starfleet Academy. I know many things.

Hold on to your lunch. Perez Hilton is reporting that actor Jeff Goldblum and musician Imogen Heap are dating. Gross.
Thanks for ruining my day, Perez.

Lindsay Lohan gets feisty when it comes to gal pal Sam Ronson. The two spent the weekend partying at the Beatrice Inn on Friday and Hawaiian Tropic Zone on Saturday, where Ronson was spinning, but Lohan didn’t like all the attention Ronson was getting. “Ashley Olsen said hello to Sam at the Beatrice, and Lindsay screamed at her, ‘Get your 15-year-old ‘Full House’ a - - away from my girlfriend,’ ” said our spy. Saturday, Lohan said Ronson “was ignoring her” and became upset. “Samantha was really focused on her work and didn’t leave the booth for anything,” said our spy. Lindsay is so into her pal, she’s even created a Facebook profile under “Lindsay Ronson.”
Well…I guess she told her.
So wait…does this mean Lindsay is a lesbian?

Actress, vegetarian and dog-lover Natalie Portman had the unfortunate experience of getting peed on by a pooch in Manhattan Monday:
The “Star Wars” cutie was the unfortunate victim of a surprise soaking as she dropped by a downtown dog run.
Portman, who has been spotted in the West Village in recent days with her bearded boyfriend, Venezuelan-born folk singer Devendra Banhart, was walking her dog with him yesterday when the brazen piddling took place.
While she was getting a pup’s-eye view of the surroundings from ground level, another stroller’s frisky pet raised its hind leg, relieved itself right on her shoes - and then ambled on its way.

So I started a recycling program on 3rd floor to encourage residents to be nicer to the environment. I set a goal and waited to see if anyone would do it. Low and behold, they exceeded the goals!! Here are the final totals:
Paper - 9 feet
Cardboard - 498 boxes
Plastic - 1143 containers/bottles
Metal - 94 cans
Glass - 109 bottles/jars
Batteries - 41
The laundry room basically exploded with recylables.
Sweet.

Happy Earth Day everyone!!
Don’t just celebrate today, but celebrate every day!! We only have one Earth, and it looks like those Moon colonies aren’t happening anytime soon, so lets all try and sustain our planet.
How can you help today (and everyday)?
- Recycle
- Turn off lights you aren’t using
- Unplug appliances you aren’t using
- Shower for 5 minutes or less
- Turn off the water when you brush your teeth
- Walk instead of drive
- Buy/eat organic foods
- Don’t eat meat
- Use reusable shopping bags
- Go tray-less in your dining hall!
- Try to purchase recyclable materials
- Don’t eat fast food
- Reduce your TV watching
- Pick up litter
- Enjoy the sunshine!
- Whatever else you can come up with! The sky is the limit
Mother Earth will give you a great big hug.

Friday - I was pretty much a vegetable after Roberts Fellows on Friday. I hung out with Adam for the afternoon. We went down to the comic shop and I picked up a couple comics and figures. Captain America is really good right now. I’m also really excited about Batman: Death Mask, which is written by a manga writer (the whole book is backwards, too!). I’m so obsessed with Star Trek figures for some reason. It’s an addiction. But really, $2 is so cheap. We then went over to Ryder and played basketball. I know, right? Adam and me playing basketball? It’s true. And fun.
Saturday - I got up, watched some cartoons, and watched Star Trek online all morning (yeah yeah..). I then decided once again to enjoy the weather a bit and I did some homework outside. Then I hung out with Deedee and then Jordan met up with us to go to the Mixx!! T’was super fun.
Sunday - Yesterday was the Residential Life banquet. It was really bittersweet. I’m not sure what I’m going to do next year. Hmm. It was also pretty fun. I was part of a group who performed “In My Life” by the Beetles. Other than that, I pretty much just relaxed until NRHH. I think we’re definitely on the right track for next year. Always nice to know.
Today - Had a couple meetings and then went to work at the desk. Always a good time. Then Adam and I went tanning, and I went to Staples to get my business cards printing. So yeah…I definitely forgot to include my e-mail address on the cards. I feel like a dummy. Ah well. C’est la vie. Also tonight was the start of IM indoor 3-on-3 soccer. I don’t think I’m really ready for sports, lol. It was actually really fun, but really tiring. In case you didn’t know, I’m not really at my physical peak. Ah well. Soccer tomorrow and Wednesday, you should come cheer us on!
