Who made the decision that repeating words or phrases like “Approved”, “Apply Directly to the Forehead”, and “It’s my money, I want it now!” was a good idea for advertisements?

How does Nancy Grace manage to stay so unbiased on the stories she reports on?
Her and her lackeys are currently blasting supermodel Naomi Campbell. In case you missed it, she’s facing assault charges over a spat with police in London’s Heathrow Airport. Nancy and friends have taken the opportunity to give us some insight into exactly what Naomi’s rage problem stems from:
“She’s probably so angry because of having to stay so skinny and because of all the men who have left her behind! Maybe they had fun with her for a while, but then discovered how ugly she is on the inside!”
“She’s just in rage because of her size. All they let her eat is lettuce! You’d be mad, too!”
Also, some bonus Nancy quotes:
“I’m so glad they didn’t miss a lacrosse game over a little thing like gang rape!”
“they should have just left all the kids on that compound … and let them continue to get broken bones naturally, like you did … and get molested.”

You may know that I have an infatuation with Marc Jacobs. Mr. J has revealed his new ad campaign featuring Victoria Beckham, music’s Posh Spice. Sounds great, right? Well…I’m not so sure. Here’s a look at the new ads. What do you think?
Also, I’m happy to report that I stumbled on these photos of Marc Jacobs and Ashley Olsen at a costume party. Delightful!

What’s the deal with the guy on TMZ?
Filed under Unexplained | Comment (0)Feeling Grateful
Davey over at Break The Illusion recently posted about a book he was reading and his resolution to create a new habit of each day, writing down five things he is grateful for. He recommended that us readers do the same, and I think it’s a great idea. I think it is so easy for us to take things for granted, but we are all blessed every day with the things we have and experience. So, each day, I’ll post my five things, and I hope that you’ll all leave comments sharing the things you’re grateful for.
Today, I’m Grateful For:
1. Sleeping In.
2. Crazy people talking about prom on This American Life.
3. Clean House Marathons (very motivating)
4. Finding lost treasures while cleaning (a Civil War Bullet!)
5. So You Think You Can DANCE!
This American Life: Prom Night
Click on the image to listen to this week’s This American Life. It’s pretty much my favorite weekly radio show (Prairie Home is a close second). I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
“While the seniors danced at Prom Night 2001 in Hoisington, Kansas—a town of about 3,000—a tornado hit the town, destroying about a third of it. When they emerged from the dance, they discovered what had happened, and in the weeks that followed, they tried to explain to themselves why the tornado hit where it did. Plus other stories that happen on Prom Night.”

Oh Margot Kidder, why must you be so alluring, yet so utterly insane?
It wasn’t until recently that I realized that Karen Allen (Indiana Jones) was a different actress than Margot. It’s an honest mistake, really.
According to People Magazine, it happens quite a lot: “we all laugh at it. I just say, `Oh, thank you so much. Superman [Kidder’s film] was a wonderful experience.’”

I’m not sure what’s worse: the fact that there is an entire blog devoted to Agent Spalko or the fact that I found it while searching for photos of Agent Spalko.
The new Indy movie was pretty decent (7 out of 10) but I think I expected a little more. And honestly, what a wierd plot?
Oh, also: http://agentspalko.com/
“Jones!”
