Pika Pika

There are high schoolers outside my window doing a song and dance to the Pokemon theme.  Where am I?  What kind of twisted dimensional rift have I fallen into?  Oh yes…Fridays at SVSU.

So yesterday, I had an interview with Jan Poppe of UComm for possible publication in This Is SVSU. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a sweet annual promo magazine that highlights people at SVSU to help others understand the Saginaw Valley experience. It’s an honor to even be considered for it, so I’m way excited. I also got to spend some quality time with Jordan. Also way exciting. I’m not really sure if he was as interested in the cultural and historical intricacies of Mulan as I was. C’est la vie.

In management today, we did a simulation of what it would be like to negotiate a contract with a union. I have no desire to ever have to do that.

Our final show for Musical Theatre is starting to come together. We learned choreography for our second group number and I think I finally figured out some blocking for my solo song. It’s real gay, but honestly, torch songs are the most fun.

It was completely gorgeous outside today. I went out and did some homework in the grass for a while. Calexico is wonderful warm-weather homework music.

Gossip Girl is coming back. I’m not sure how to feel about it.
